Dance like no one's watching, Love like you've never been hurt and Live like there's no tomorrow!

In 2000 I was presented with an opportunity to collect Teddy Bears for children with Cancer.  This experience changed me more than I ever thought possible.

I've been involved with community service projects for many years, but this time it was different.  I actually got to see how each of the children receiving one of the Teddy Bears actually felt.  I was able to realize the JOY myself, unlike any of the other projects that I had done in the past.

This reaction touched me, and at that point I knew that I was going to dedicate volunteer service to helping children.  Although you are not always able to see the reactions, you know in your heart that they are there.  This is what drives you to keep going.

So in 2000, I founded the Program, "Kids Helping Kids...We Can Make a Difference".  Through this program I have continued to collect Teddy Bears for children with cancer, collected hats/mittens, coats/sweaters, toys/books, and gifts for the holidays to be given to local families with children.

In 2002, "Kids Helping Kids" became a member of the Kids Care Club.  Many of our efforts will be to assist children in need throughout the country.
